Nick has been working at Ability Options Nursery for 25 years, and it seems he'll be happily working here for many years to come.
To celebrate his 25 years of service, Nick was recently presented a commemorative watch by Ability Options CEO Fred Van Steel. On the occasion, he said he felt very happy and proud of himself.
"I love working here," said Nick, who shares how he learned a lot about communicating with different kinds of people over the years
"The people are really supportive, helpful, nice and friendly. I would like to work another 25 years here."
Nursery Manager Talbot Wilson is proud of Nick reaching his rare milestone.
"He is a reliable and valued member of the team," said Talbot. "There's a couple of things that Nick loves talking about - the horses, and the footy. He's a bit of a punter our Nick."
A die-hard Wests Tigers supporter and keen ten-pin bowler, Nick started with Ability Options on 26 March 1990, when the nursery was at Rooty Hill and just a humble old shed with a few pots and benches. He along with the nursery moved to the current site at St Clair in 1998.
