Plan and prepare

Our WorkReady team listen to your goals.Together,  we develop a personalised plan which we regularly review with you and your circle of support and could include:

• creating a resume and cover letter
• job application and job seeking skills
• communicating to an employer
• how to market yourself
• setting employer and employee expectations
• work ethics and behaviors at work
• career counselling and guidance
• career planning
• assistance to manage stress and anxiety
• confidence building strategies

Connect to work

We connect you with our large network of employers, giving you hands-on work experience in workplaces that match your interests and goals. We can also support you to find a keep a job using our Disability Employment Service.

We have employees with disability, community connected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, as well as employees who are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, who have an understanding of your unique history, beliefs, and values.

Post placement support

Once you start your role or work experience placement, we continue to stay in touch with you. This is to support and mentor you on-site, giving you the best possible chance to succeed.

In today’s competitive job market we understand how hard it can be to get your foot in the door and that every person’s employment journey is different.

	WorkReady School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) WorkReady SLES Service is focused on employment, training, and life skills for young people and School Leavers. The service develops your knowledge and experience, to go into the world of work or further education with confidence.
	We support people of all ages realise their employment goals We not only support young people through SLES, but we also support older Australians with disability who have ‘Finding and Keeping a Job’ in their NDIS plan, who feel ready and motivated to enter into work or further education. If you are currently working, but want a promotion, or to move jobs, we can support you with these goals too.
