Ability Options Drop in Support offers you assistance with every day tasks - whether you live in your own home, or in supported accommodation. We provide support with independent living skills such as shopping, cooking and money management, Government services such as Centrelink, and engaging with your local community.
Drop in Support services are offered for people with disability living in Mittagong, the Hunter Region and Western Sydney.
We also offer respite for family and carers.

Disability Housing and Support Initiative (DHASI) - Mittagong
Our DHASI services are located in the Mittagong area, covering the Southern Highlands region. We work in partnership with Housing NSW, and NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC).
The DHASI program enables people we support to develop skills so that they may be able to live relatively independent lives.

Independent Living Drop In Support (ILDIS) - Hunter Region
Our Independent Living Drop-In Support program (ILDIS) provides each of our clients with up to 35 hours of direct support per week to assist and support them to live independently in their home and in their community.
Our ILDIS program has been running since late 2009 in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas.
With a dedicated and professional team of Support Workers, our ILDIS program offers our clients a person centred, goal focused, skill development program to enable, support and enhance their independent lifestyle.
We provide drop-in support, either in your home or in the community, up to 35 hours per week, one-on-one support, 7 days a week.
Our program is tailored to suit each individual. We take the time to listen to what your hopes, dreams and goals are to an independent future and we support you to plan how to get there. We provide our clients skill development to enable them to live the most independent life they can. Some skills that our Support Workers can assist you with developing might be; cooking, household cleaning and maintenance, grocery shopping, budgeting, getting to and from places, medication needs, medical and specialist appointments and accessing your local community.
We understand that from time to time things change and may pop up at the last minute. We pride ourselves as being a flexible support team in order to provide our clients with the highest level of service possible to suit their needs. We have a range of clients that utilise our service in individual ways, from a structured routine of drop-in support to calling to arrange support when required - we don’t mind, as long as it works for you!

Individualised drop in support - Western Sydney
Our Individualised drop in support services is a FREE program that can support adults in receipt of a Disability Support Pension living independently in the community. The program offers individualised support that addresses the multiple needs of the Client from a range of services providers. Our support services can assist you in your home and/or in the your local community.
Our indiviualised drop in support service can assist you with:
This program can be provided for a period of no more than 12 months based on a person's individual needs. If this time period is not sufficient or you find your circumstances change, you can always re-apply for the service later on down the track
Contact our Individualised Drop in Support Coordinator on 02 8811 1777 Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. From there we can assist you with your referral paperwork and arrange an initial interview.
