Benjamin's Journey from WorkReady to Work Placement

Benjamin was referred to our WorkReady service by his Support Coordinator Deborah from our Charlestown office and started with WorkReady in January this year.

Attending the WorkReady service two days a week. Benjamin worked on his workplace communication skills as well as resume and cover letter writing, budgeting and money handling skills.

With an interest in hospitality he undertook his work experience at Lavenders Café at Maitland reaching one of his goals, which was to be more confident in the workplace.  He also enjoyed working toward his Certificate IV Hospitality.

All of this support for Benjamin has now seen be gain employment at The Art Gallery Café.  

He is enjoying the work very much and has transferred into the Olympus Solutions DES program who are working alongside him on his post placement support needs. Congrats Benjamin.
