The wage subsidy scheme is a government funded contribution to assist employers cover the cost of recruitment including training when employing eligible job seekers into sustainable positions through our organisation.
The scheme is offered through the Disability Employment Services and jobactive employment initiatives.
Through the Disability Employment Service, wage subsidies may be available to businesses employing job seekers using our service, including additional assistance for mature age.
Employers may be able to receive up to $10,000 (including GST) over 6 months funding to support eligible jobseekers. Additionally Employers are entitled funding for work place modifications**
Through the jobactive initiative, wage subsidies may be available to businesses employing job seekers through our service, including mature age, youth, parents, long-term unemployed and Indigenous jobseekers.
Employers may be able to receive up to $10,000 (GST inclusive) over 6 months.* Wage subsidy placements can be for full-time positions, as well as part-time positions of at least an average of 20 hours per week.
