WorkReady equips you with the skills, knowledge and real-world experience for you to enter or re-enter work or further training with confidence. Whether you’re eager to join the workforce straight away, or are thinking of doing some further study or training, WorkReady will support your goals.
Our WorkReady team listen to your goals and together we develop a personalised plan which we regularly review with you and your circle of support and could include;
We connect you with our extensive network of employers to give you hands-on work experience in workplaces that match your interests and employment goals.
We have community connected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees as well as employees who are from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, who have an understanding of your unique history, beliefs and values.
Once you start your role or work experience placement, we continue to stay in touch to support and mentor you on site to give you the best chance possible to succeed.
In today’s competitive job market we understand how hard it can be to get your foot in the door and that every person’s employment journey is different.
WorkReady Youth SLES Service is focused on employment, training and life skills for young people. To develop knowledge and experience to go into the world of work or further education with confidence.
Employment service for people with disability over 25 who feel ready and motivated to enter into work or training. If you are currently working, but want that promotion or to move jobs, we can coach and support you with these goals.
Takes our work skills training directly to students in school. This can include vocational assessments, work readiness training and assisting with work experience placements.
For people with disability who are commencing or have completed TAFE or Uni. We offer advice and orientation to support your smooth transition into education, work experience placements and work readiness strategies.
We partner with providers to support people back into the workforce through services such as vocational assessments and counselling, work experience, on the job training and workplace modifi cation advice.
There are several ways you can access the WorkReady supports and services. We can provide advice and guidance to find the best funding option for you.
The government provides a number of funding options, including the NDIS that you may be able to access to pay for supports and services of your choice. Our WorkReady consultants can talk you through your funding options.
People and/or businesses wishing to access specifi c supports and services who do not receive Government (NDIS) funding or wish to have addition supports and services outside of their government funding can choose to self-fund.
We partner with workers compensation and other insurance companies to fully fund or subsidise the cost of WorkReady supports and services. This will depend on your individual circumstances and policy details.
