As of 30 November 2022, Mid-North Coast disability services provider R&R Care has joined the Ability Options community as a wholly owned subsidiary.
R&R Care provides a range of social and recreational activities to support participants to engage with their community, strengthen their ability to live independently, and live the life they want. Many of their activities are group-based, but they also provide one-on-one therapy and support services.
Earlier this month, Ability Options CEO Julia Squire visited R&R Care staff, participants and leaders on the Mid-North Coast, and was delighted with the welcome she received.
Julia said she was excited at the opportunity to welcome new faces to the Ability Options community and expand in the region to continue to provide exceptional support to people living with a disability.
“Both organisations share the same values. The staff and participants I met were awesome and both Ability Options and R&R Care can learn from each other. Together we are going to be a fabulous team offering growing services for participants and families and great career opportunities for staff,” Julia said.
“Expanding on the Mid-North Coast is an exciting opportunity for us as a leading disability and employment services provider in New South Wales, but I hope even more so for the wonderful people I am excited to welcome to our community.”
R&R Care CEO Daniela Shaw expressed her delight about becoming part of the Ability Options community and what that means for the people R&R Care supports.
“Ability Options is a leader in our sector, and I am delighted we will be able to continue to provide the high standard of support we have been providing to our participants in the region as a part of the Ability Options family,” she said.
