Emma joined the WorkReady service in July 2018 with her goals being to secure part-time role where she is able to help others and to build upon her confidence and independence through
life skills.
With these goals in mind, WorkReady Consultants created tailored one on one sessions and worked with Emma to develop her employment, communication and life skills in order to prepare her for the workforce and independent living.
Emma attended WorkReady whilst also completing her final year of school and set herself numerous other milestone she wanted to hit whilst with Ability Options. These include finishing school, enrolling in TAFE, improving confidence and communication skills as well now being able to travel independently with the aid of a new and improved wheelchair and car modifications which have all increased her independence.
Through hard work and dedication Emma was given the opportunity to join the team at Eurella Community Services as an assistant at the beginning of this year.
Emma’s journey with WorkReady showcases how each individual’s goals, aspirations and dreams can be turned into a reality, as shown with Emma securing the job of her dreams.
Congratulations Emma, we wish you all the best for the future and we look forward to seeing where your employment journey takes you!
