At our Short-Term Accommodation services, we believe every stay is about creating wonderful moments and experiences. Mid North Coast local, Nela, recently had an eight-day adventure at The Retreat in Coffs Harbour with our friendly teams, who expertly organised her stay to make her feel right at home.

Nela’s Support Coordinator, Lena, assisted her in finding respite care after her frequent hospital visits.

“I have used The Retreat for other participants and knew that the services that they provided were amazing. I showed Nela some brochures around The Retreat and she was excited to give this a try. So that’s when I approached Michelle, the Practice Manager at The Retreat, for some dates and to see what documents needed to be completed for this to happen,” Lena shares.

Lena made sure every detail was crafted to make Nela have a memorable stay. Nela says she felt an immediate sense of comfort and belonging when she arrived at The Retreat.

“The accommodation was wonderful,” Nela says, “I felt safe and like I was at home”.

“My room was amazing! The staff were awesome and all accommodating, they knew who I was before I got there, which made me feel really at ease.”

“They made me feel special with all the lovely things added to my room,” Nela expresses.
