Breaking barriers to employment, supporting people to live more independently, and growing as an organisation would be three highlights of Ability Options’ last 12 months.

Our 2022-23 Annual Report is jam-packed full of the amazing stories from across our community, from participants reaching their goals living more independently, to staff sharing stories about their journey into work in the disability sector.

We know that proper support can have a profound impact on the lives of people who need or come seeking it.

In this year’s report:

  • Chair of the Board, Dr Robert Lang and Ability Options CEO, Julia Squire share an update on what the last 12 months brought about for Ability Options, our teams, and our participants.
  • Our participants share their stories, successes and achievements throughout the last 12 months
  • Our Chief Quality, Practice and Assurance Officer, Michelle, shares how a budding career in sport powered her goal to support our communities in the disability sector.
  • Many of our staff came together to celebrate each other’s achievements at the first in-person STAR Employee Awards after COVID lockdowns in December 2022,
  • WorkReady superstar Thomas keeps hitting his culinary goals and has started to share some of his recipes with his community,
  • And much more!

We’re so excited for you to read about the accomplishments and experiences of our participants and staff in this year’s Annual Report.
